Dale "Lynn" James vintage motorcycle photos

.

All pictures via the fabulous website : www.americanbantam.com
Dale pictures copyright : John Ramos

Back in the OLD days Dale used to race motorcycles. He raced from 1970 -71 very competitively and a few years after just for fun until the mid 70's. Most of the races after 1972 were marathons and enduros with his dad (who was quite fast by the way :-) He raced a 250cc Bultaco most of the time. It was a very fast and reliable bike for it's time. Here are some pictures taken by a professional photographer (John Ramos) who went from race to race taking pictures of everyone.

Cars, trains and, well, planes. It sounds simple enough, but while the photography of, first trains, and then automobiles came to me as the natural outgrowth of my interest in and experience with those subjects, the photography of aircraft came from a different source. Having photos of cars and trains, I began having art consultants ask me if I had anything on airplanes, but unfortunately at that time, I did not.

Vintage motocross Photographer

.

I just want to invite you today to take a look at this vintage picture gallery from : Don. Don is an amateur photographer living in Falls Church, VA, near Washington DC. His photographic interests include taking pics of his 3 kids, low-light/night photography and portraits. His taste runs to artsy rather than clinical. He prefers moody to stark.
He uses a Canon Digital Rebel XTi(400D) DSLR with an Opteka grip. His lenses include:
17-85mm Canon IS (primary walk-about lens)
50mm Canon 1.8 prime
60mm Canon Macro
75-300mm Canon telephoto (man this thing needs a lot of light!)

He wants to upgrade the 75-300 someday, as well as get a macro lens...

Scott Pommier

slo ride Clayton riding Panhead

Scott Pommier’s interest in photography began when he started using his mother’s semi-automatic SLR to take pictures of his friends skateboarding.

Since then, he has shot covers for every major skateboarding publication and now divides his time between his position as a senior photographer for SBC Skateboard magazine, a variety of editorial and commercial jobs, a book project to be completed next year, and spending more hours either behind the wheel or in front of the computer than he ever imagined possible.
Scott is currently a Venice, California resident.
