How does riding make you feel?

When you are out there on your motorcycle how does it make you feel?  Do you become one with your bike?  I know I zone out and nothing else matters around me but everything does matter around me.  It's a sense of freedom to be able to move as you want to move and to feel the air on your body it's a wonderful thing.  It's a love between me, storm(my motorcycle), the road and the scenery.

Indian Motorcycles, 1901 to 1953

Indian Motorcycles, 1901 to 1953...

Do you like the new Indians? Or do you think "1901-1953. End of story."
Is the new Indian a good bike? What do you think? Did you ever own an Indian?

Bring A Gift For A Veteran: Bash 2010

I am really looking forward to being in Upper Michigan in August with my brother, who is a Vietnam vet... smokey BBQ of every kind by the state BBQ champs, waterfalls and untouched national forests, glass bottom boat tours and Great Lakes fishing... plus 5 bands! Aug. 27 to 29. Come to Chatham, Michigan for BASH 2010.

This will be a very special, "Salute To Our Military" past & present. Day pass - $20 or  $40 for Fr/Sat/Sun. A weekend filled with music by The Dan Lawson Band, The Red, White & Blues Band, North Country Band, Willie Nash Band and Donny Hartman Band... and don't be surprised if some other great musicians show up and play... it's going to be that kind of event.

... laid back, with lots of food and music, mechanical bull rides and beer tents, country and leather vendors from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that you will not see at other biker events this year.

Plenty of rental cabins and free camping available.

Remember to Bring A Gift for a Veteran!
Click the photo to enlarge the WISH LIST.

This is a 21st Birthday Bash for UP Magazine & Belvedere - the magazine's mascot. So, bring a birthday gift that can be given to a veteran -- all veterans who are able to attend will receive a hero's welcome!

The self titled “Kulture Recycling & Vintage Clothing World Gathering” was organized by the inspirational Rin Tanaka (My Freedamn!) and is poised to become one of the most exciting newly crafted and vintage Americana clothing events in the world. Our fellow exhibitors include brands like The Flat head, orSlow, Stevenson Overall Co., Studio D’Artisan, Feal Mor, and more. Vintage purveyors include Strongarm C&S Co., Mister Freedom, Chuck’s Vintage, Oscar and many more.

Heller’s Cafe was there too, as Rin recently published a book featuring them entitled, “King of Vintage No. 1: Heller’s Cafe.” There were 600 copies available at the show.

The Barker Hanger in the Santa Monica airport provided the coolest setting for such an event with their recently acquired WWII-era tent.
