Judy Parker - Tattoo Of The Week

Pacific Tattoo Artist, Judy Parker has been creating the most amazing sea life tattoos for more than 30 years in San Diego and at shows across the country. You will be able to see her in action at Sturgis 2010!

She is always on the lookout for quality professionals to work with at her shop and at shows. She is currently seeking contributions from artists for a flash project for the Alliance of Professional Tattooists for 2010. Details on her MySpace-Judy Parker.

Here's what a devoted fan says about her work: My dearly departed brother, Leonard "Ghost" Smith, first introduced me and my wife "Red" to Judy 15 years ago at "Tattoos & Blues" in Santa Rosa, and I am proud to say that I'm a collector of several judy Parker pieces! (including my family crest on my upper arm.)

But it's my wife Red who has become the TRUE artist's canvas for her ....including pieces on her back and arm, but its her legs that are truly amazing! From her knee to the top of her right foot is the most intricate and unique black and grey fairy collage you have ever seen!

Judy's personal faves are on Red's left leg: full color under sea scenes including her lionfish and a beautiful purple seahorse that stretchs over 2ft long from ankle to knee!

All this gorgous skin art has caused Red to get stopped on the street constantly! She is literaly stopped several times a day when she's wearing shorts or a skirt so people can admire and photograph them. They have also won BEST of SHOW awards.

Here's some advise - especialy to you ladies.  You and your tattoo are going to be together for the rest of your life, so don't wander into some generic "Pick it & Stick it" tattoo parlor and point to that same butterfly patern on the wall that literaly a MILLION other people already have on them!

Get yourself an original one of a kind piece of "skin art" that you will be proud to show off forever by world famous artist, Judy Parker, owner/artist at Pacific Tattoo, 3478 Main St, San Diego, CA 92113  Directions & Reviews
